Our goal is to provide patients with a medical home. We build our services to meet the needs of our patients and surround them with the care and resources they need to live healthy and full lives.

As a satellite clinic of AHS since 1997, AMSHO (Adult Medical Services at Hotel Oakland) prides itself on providing high-quality, comprehensive, and up-to-date care for adult and elderly patients within a smaller, more intimate care setting. Uniquely situated within the same building as two adult day health centers, we provide for both the chronic care as well as the urgent care needs of many of the seniors who attend those centers and of the adults and elderly who come from surrounding areas.

Our dedicated staff, including physicians all Board-certified in Family Practice or Internal, serve over 3,200 patients and almost 10,000 visits annually. Besides caring for patients across the full spectrum of the adult life cycle starting from young adulthood, our providers offer unique experience and expertise in the care and assessment of the elderly patient.

Our staff are fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Toisanese and on-site interpreters are provided.
